Vanuatu Maritime College: "Our Training Facilities Available To Anybody " Barnett

For the past few years, Vanuatu Maritime College (VMC) has provided training to many people with different areas of interest coming from both the government and private sector in Vanuatu.

One of the training courses, the college provides is for Ni-Vanuatu wishing to find employment on cruise ships, at the moment with Pacific Sky.

A different kind of training

Up at 0500 – exercise – swim in the sea – clean-up (remember the 3-bucket system!) – shower – breakfast – parade & flag-raising – inspection – into class at 0745…

 

What is all this? It was the first part of a normal day for the students trained at the Vanuatu Maritime College to work as hospitality crew aboard the cruise vessel Pacific Sky.
